|Why YIEP and Bellevue University?|
Bellevue University is proud of the agreement that was reached between Bellevue University and YIEP Inc. Begun in August 2004, the partnership brings together faculty from Bellevue's College of Professional Studies and students from the Jewish community, in a blended cohort. This presents a terrific opportunity for the studens, the Jewish community, and Bellevue University.
Bellevue University, a private non-profit institution in Bellevue, Nebraska, is a national leader in graduate and undergraduate degree programs. We started as a small college in 1966 and became a university in 1994 serving students all over the world using our innovative distributed learning system. Since its founding in 1966, we have experienced continuous growth in student enrollment and have cutting-edge approaches to higher education. In the mid 1990's, we were one of the first U.S. colleges to offer online degree programs.
We are proud of the fact that Bellevue University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS), and was selected to participate in prototyping the Academic Quality Improvement Project, its innovative approach to the accreditation process. The North Central Association is one of the six accreditation bodies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. We have been approved to offer 42 bachelors and 11 masters degrees.
We have established relationships with organizations from all types and sizes of industries, which includes several Fortune 100 companies. We have significant experience in developing and delivering online education and training as well as a trademarked online learning model.

Thank you for your interest in YIEP. We believe that this program will be of great benefit to the community at large and to many individuals. We hope that you will be one of those individuals. It is that concern for the Klal that motivates our activities. We have spoken to many Rabbinic and community leaders who have encouraged us to proceed with this Program.
The uniqueness of this program is that Bellevue University of Omaha, Nebraska will accept up to 70 transfer credits from a Yeshiva or Seminary for an Undergraduate degree; or a Bachelor of Talmudic/Rabbinic Law from an accredited Rabbinic school in the United States (and, under certain conditions, in Israel, Canada and Europe), as well as a degree from an accredited secular school, for entrance into their Graduate degree program. In addition, our programs have been geared to optimize participation from individuals wherever they may reside and work, United States, Canada, Israel, and beyond. The on-site requirements are minimal, and are set in a proper and modest environment with the balance of the program online within the private confines of one’s home and according to his or her own schedule. These degrees are quality programs sponsored by a fully accredited institution. We hope that your degree will open up new doors in your professional careers and/or advance your current positions.
Please share this opportunity with your friends and colleagues and do call upon us if we can be of any assistance.
